Sieben Sünden in einem Land
— Design Degree Project at University of Bolzano
An examination of taste, kitsch and camp in South Tyrol. Seven extraordinary personalities and objects have been analysed and commented in order to give an insight on these controversial topics. Text, photography and collages have been used as a form of representation. The close and personal tone of the examination reflects the different characters. The result is a book, designed as a top7-list, a kaleidoscope of curiosities and peculiarities. It is an exciting new look on South Tyrol which aims to be interesting not only for artists, architects, designers – or critics who love the Alps. It is a search of the good taste of bad taste.
